After listening to music for many years, there are occasional moments when I think I’ve heard everything. Obviously not in the literal sense, these thoughts instead usually center more around how songs are constructed. With only a finite array of chords, beats, melodies, and instrument combinations available in the world, it’d only seem logical that this resource (like many others) might eventually feel/get tapped out. But as I keep learning, the ever-variable time signature of creativity’s story is ultimately never over. Especially in the capable hands of artists like Cary Archer.
