About the Artist

Heat rising off paddocks. Sorghum fields moving in dry wind. β€˜Red Dirt Road’ is an up-tempo traditional country single from Gunnedah-born Billboard #1 co-writer, Anthony Snape, inspired by his share-farming upbringing in regional NSW. Following the hometown momentum of β€˜Big Love in a Small Town’, this pedal steel and upright bass-driven release strengthens his Australian country positioning and launches a coordinated 2026 campaign of country-focused singles. "I grew up on properties my parents share-farmed around Gunnedah. Red dirt wasn’t an aesthetic for me, it was childhood. This song came quickly, almost like I had to jump to catch it. It’s about falling in love in the simplest place possible, wide sky, dust in the air, and nothing but land around you."
