About the Artist

Singer-songwriter Billie-Jo Porter captures sunshine in a bottle on her new single β€˜Look to the Good Things’ - an optimistic slice of feel-good music. Following on from her previous single β€˜Spring Cleaning’, β€˜Look to the Good Things’ builds on Billie-Jo’s unique sound – a curated blend of Roots, Folk and Country. The singer’s carefree vocal floats over a buoyant production of quirky guitars and earthy percussion. Produced by multi award winning Shane Nicholson, the track leans into texture and tone, pairing laid-back charm with subtle sonic surprises. It’s the sound of an artist comfortable in her skin, grounded yet glowing. At its core, β€˜Look to the Good Things’ is exactly what the title suggests - a gentle but powerful recalibration. β€œSometimes we get so caught up chasing the big stuff that we forget the magic is already around us. Look to the Good Things is my little nudge - to myself and everyone listening - to breathe, smile, and notice what’s right in front of you.” From strutting to the soundtrack of Dr Hook to finding twenty dollars in last winter’s coat, the song celebrates life’s small victories - coffee that tastes good, warm fires, cheeky smiles and silver linings hiding in plain sight. It’s an anthem for perspective, wrapped in melody.
