Emerging Indie-Folk artist Chloe Dickson has announced the official release of her debut single, “Seven Years,” now available for streaming and radio airplay. The track serves as a cinematic introduction to a new voice in the Australian music scene, exploring the poignant intersection of biological change and emotional memory. Written and produced by Dickson, “Seven Years” was inspired by the scientific concept that the human body’s cells regenerate every seven years. The song utilises a nostalgic blend of acoustic guitar and driving percussion to mirror the friction between who we were and who we are becoming. By balancing modern production with raw storytelling, Dickson aims to create an immersive experience that resonates with listeners facing their own seasons of change. “I wanted my first release to be a true reflection of my identity as an artist,” says Chloe Dickson. “‘Seven Years’ is about how even though we may change physically some memories hold on way longer than we think. Following this debut, Dickson is focusing on further songwriting and studio production, with additional singles expected to follow in the few years.
