Jam on Raw Dough have just released their debut album 'Breathe' - built from a wide emotional and sonic spectrum. ‘Breathe’ moves between vulnerability and release, never forcing a single concept or aesthetic. Instead, the record plays like a series of snapshots, each song capturing a different headspace, from anxiety and grief through to escapism, comfort, and defiant joy. The album follows the title track release which received earlier in the year. The focus track on this record is 'Blue Balloon'. Sparked by a family trip to Fiji and a photo of Jordan’s son holding a balloon. The song reflects on childhood possibilities and the boundaries that can limit it, drawing on the Filipino street game patintero as a metaphor for the lines society and family can draw around young lives.
