Written, arranged, produced and mixed in Australia by independent songwriter and producer George Galanis (aka jeorjeo54), Burning Desire is an empowering dance-pop anthem. Beginning with subdued, vulnerable vocals, it builds into a driving pop rhythm as two people confront how much they’ve changed - yet only one has realised it. Recorded across three countries, it features powerful vocals by LA session singer Jasmine Soto, whose vulnerability shines beneath the empowered lyrics, soulful saxophone by Ukraine’s Mykola Neruk, and music, including electric guitar, by Mexico’s Iván Reyes. A true international collaboration, the human performances and their subtle organic imperfections were preserved in the final mix, resulting in a rich, emotion-filled pop track.

jeorjeo54 is the musical moniker of George Galanis, a Sydney-based songwriter and producer bridging classic indie songwriting with modern pop. Human artistry is at the heart of every production, writing lyrics, melodies and collaborating with hand-selected international session singers and musicians to perform his original songs. George produces and mixes each track, creating polished, emotionally resonant music rooted in traditional songwriting. His ethos is simple: no prompts, just real human music inspired by heartbreak, reflection and connection, created to linger long after the final note fades.
