Gold Coast indie-rock 4-piece Laurel Hill are back with Heavy Shape, their most personal release to date — and the one that’s been sitting closest to their heart. True to its name, Heavy Shape captures the emotional limbo that comes with heartbreak: that strange, stubborn space where you know something’s over, but your heart hasn’t caught up yet. It’s a song about absence, memory and loving someone more in theory than in reality.
