About the Artist

Ron ‘Callo’ Callaghan is a South Coast institution and has been playing his unique blend of blues, rock and country up and down the south coast for 30 years. Ron ‘Callo’ Callaghan started on rhythm guitar and vocals for ‘Mixed Relations’ in ,1984 with Anthony Harrison (Bass), Dave Stewart (Drums) and ex ‘Black Lace’ guitarist Junior Brennan on lead guitar. Callo has a unique vibrato voice and has kept crowds captivated with his rhythmic sounds for decades. Callo can perfom as a solo artist or with his band, he can play many different styles of music but his heart and soul are felt through his original songs about family, culture and his journey through life. Friend Of Mine - We've probably all lost our way following a wrong decision at some time in our life. Friend Of Mine is featured as the first track on his EP, Agree to Disagree. The track, which was recorded with assistance from Stephen Lindsay at Old Binda Road Recording Studio, is available on streaming platforms.
