Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Suzie So Blue has released her latest track, βBendβ, a meditation on resilience, perseverance, and adaptability, symbolising the complexities of love and life. The song features Suzieβs distinctive emotive vocals, accompanied by her tenor guitar and Dobro banjo, creating a rich, intimate sound. "Bend" brings together a talented ensemble of musicians, including Kat Mear on fiddle, whose expertise is drawn from years of touring across Australia and Europe. Craig Woodward, one of Melbourneβs leading old-time musicians, contributes his banjo skills, while Oscar Poncell, a respected producer and multi-instrumentalist, anchors the track on double bass. The ensemble is rounded out by drummer Pat Foley. Produced by Poncell and mastered by Adam Dempsey, "Bend" is a beautifully layered composition that captures the essence of Suzieβs musical journey.
