About the Artist

Andy Jans-Brown is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans music, film, theatre, and poetry. For over three decades, he has carved a distinctive path through Australia’s creative landscape, weaving raw honesty with dark humour, compassion, and hope. As a songwriter, Andy has released four acclaimed double albums; Letting Go! (2012), Sunshine Avenue (2014), Hell is Light (2018), and Falling (2024) with a fifth, Airport Departure Lounge (2026), on the horizon. His music has seen him tour internationally and share stages with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Phil Jamieson, Portugal. The Man, and The Preatures. This is the second single from my upcoming album, 'Airport Departure Lounge' coming soon. This single, 'Sunset or Sunrise' is a fast paced indie-rock song about standing at the edge of change when everything feels like it’s breaking, and you can’t tell if it’s collapse or breakthrough.
