‘No Dawn Without A Night’ is a departure from Desert Pear’s more sedate song style. Carl Emerton and Bill Chambers decided to explore a swampier, beat-driven tune for a change. The song is a Country rock piece featuring Carl’s gritty vocals centreing on regret and resilience. Bill’s musical mastery comes to the fore as always, especially in the instrumental solo midway through the song. It has a catchy chorus and is guaranteed to make you tap your toes and sing along.
