BLISTER is a 90s/00s Pop Rock/Pop Punk anthem, narrating the tale of a former lover, and the anxiety and loss of control that comes with falling in lover. Musically, the song draws from the early work of Kelly Clarkson, as well as Aussie pop-rock legends The Veronicas and Slowly Slowly, with a high-energy instrumental backing a hook-filled topline that is totally addictive. The team behind the project was once again with long-time collaborators Brisbane-based producer and songwriter Kris Unwin and Gold Coast songwriter and vocalist Rosie Jacobson.
