A 2024 Toyota Star Maker Finalist, she’s fast emerging as one of the country’s most exciting rising artists. “Whiskey Talkin’”, marks Piper Rodrigues’ first release in a year and signals a more confident, evolved chapter in her sound. Recorded in Nashville with producer Michael Flanders and co-written with Jack Hudson and Brittany Elise, the track blends late-night country storytelling with emotional clarity. At its core, Whiskey Talkin’ is about knowing something is wrong and choosing it anyway; because sometimes you have to pour it all in and see what happens. The song explores the dangerous pull of chemistry, where romance only shows up after midnight and the whiskey does the talking.
