Based in Queensland, Shumo AG is a 14-year-old Australian singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for emotionally powerful originals and expressive electric guitar work. He began writing and performing music from a young age and has created over 16 original songs across pop, indie rock, and melodic rock styles. Shumo has performed on major stages, including MTV School Fest in front of 40,000 people and international festivals such as Mega Booming, with audiences of over 20,000. In June 2026, Shumo AG will release his new original song “Iron Veins” in collaboration with Indonesian hitmaker rock band Batas Senja, who have around 9.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify. This marks a major milestone in Shumo’s career, as one of Indonesia’s most recognised bands connected strongly with his original song. Over three months, Shumo and Batas Senja worked together to re-arrange the track for a closer fit with the band’s audience, while preserving Shumo’s original emotional guitar work, songwriting identity, and original lyrics.
