Under The Tree

I’m Craig Cavanagh, a singer-songwriter from Liverpool, UK, blending soul, pop, R&B and reggae. I released my debut EP, Green Eyed Soul, in 2013 before life took me in different directions for thirteen years. In August 2026, I returned with 13 Summers Later, a personal collection of songs shaped by love, loss, family, relationships and the experiences that have made me who I am today. Since returning to music, it’s been exciting to see my songs reaching people around the world, with radio airplay in Liverpool, America, Australia and Canada. As an independent artist, it means a lot to see music that started with personal experiences connecting with listeners internationally. I’m now releasing my original Christmas single, Under the Tree, on 1 November 2026. It brings a different side of my songwriting to life, combining festive warmth and nostalgia with a laid-back Caribbean-inspired sound. Song Info: Under the Tree is my original Christmas single, released on 1 November 2026. I wanted to create something that captures the warmth, nostalgia and togetherness of Christmas while giving it a different feel from the usual festive songs. Built around a ukulele with a Caribbean feel, it has a relaxed, feel good vibe while keeping the magic of Christmas at its heart. Local Sounds Radio Australia have already supported my music by playing Soulmate, so I’m really pleased to be sharing my new release with the station. I hope Under the Tree brings a bit of festive warmth to your listeners this Christmas.
