DJ GQ & Mr. Vegas Release New Single "If We Had More Time"
Award-winning DJ, radio personality, and producer DJ GQ returns with his first new release in six years, "If We Had More Time," featuring international reggae star Mr. Vegas. The single serves as the lead release from DJ GQ's upcoming EP, Skank Rock Reggae.
Known for his work as a mixshow DJ on Y100 Miami and as host of Dancehall Cyaan Done on SiriusXM's Tuff Gong Radio, DJ GQ has spent decades introducing audiences to Caribbean
music through radio, live performances, and touring. With If We Had More Time, he continues to build on a lifelong connection to reggae music and Caribbean culture.
Built around a timeless message of love, appreciation, and the value of time, the song blends modern reggae production with the soulful melodies and emotional storytelling that have

The collaboration came together naturally, with Mr. Vegas immediately connecting with the song's message and musical direction. "DJ GQ has been representing Caribbean music for years. The release marks the beginning of a busy year for DJ GQ, whose forthcoming Skank Rock Reggae EP will feature appearances from Big Mountain, Yoli Mayor, Paul Anthony, Maxi Priest, and additional guest artists. Beyond the reggae project, DJ GQ is also preparing several crossover releases, including collaborations with longtime friend and touring partner Kevin Lyttle, Mr. Vegas, Casely, and others.
In 2024, DJ GQ was named Mixshow DJ of the Year (Top 40/Dance) at the Electronic Dance Music Awards. His career has included national radio syndication, international performances, and ongoing work as a respected voice in Caribbean music through SiriusXM's Tuff Gong Radio.
