Song Info: People Pleaser Tendencies is an indie-pop folk track inspired by the heartfelt songwriting style of Lizzy McAlpine. The song explores the experience of constantly prioritising other people's feelings over your own and the gradual realisation that you've been reshaping parts of yourself to make others comfortable or avoid disappointing them. Recorded in Brisbane, People Pleaser Tendencies features production, backing vocals, guitar, mandolin and piano by Faith Kayrooz. The track was mixed by Cormac Finn, mastered by Paul Blakey, with drums by Hayden White and bass by Gerry Jaimes. Lyrics, composition and lead vocals were written and performed by Stelle. The result is an intimate and reflective song about self-awareness, boundaries, and learning to value your own needs as much as those of the people around you.
