Written from the perspective of Lars von Trier's rogue planet in Melancholia, Teenage Bees’ second single “SLAM HUNK” is an industrial-pop extinction event - filthy, euphoric, emotionally abusive and fun. It’s a Greek deity coming to mess with mortals. The Death Star laser pointed right at you. It’s a boy with a gun on his way to school. It’s ordinary destruction on a mythic scale, but it’s also catchy as, and objectively entertaining.
