About the Artist
Alumnye, is a Perth-based music duo that are coming off the release of their new single “FUNKY KARTS” ABOUT THE SONG: FUNKY KARTS is an alternative Rap-Pop dance anthem that explores ideas of Love and Romance over a funky/psychedelic selfproduced instrumental, incorporating elements of Funk, Garage, R&B, Hip-Hop, Pop, Alternative, Dance, Electronic and Psychedelic music. QUOTES: "I wanted to explore ideas of romance on this song by referencing the complexity of love with other metaphors to fit the vibe of a very complex and otherworldly instrumental.” - Tre Jordan “The inspiration for the the lyrics just came to me while I was writing, as it was influenced by all the music I was listening to in that time” - Erico Jeandré ABOUT THE ARTIST: Produce and engineer all of their own work and have proudly been doing so for 4 years. Film and edit all of their own music videos and currently have 3 of them up on platforms such as YouTube. They’ve managed to successfully advertise “FUNKY KARTS” and grow their audience to what it is today from as little as 10 monthly listeners before its release.
