About the Artist
AquaMurmur is an indie retro-pop project from the Surf Coast, Australia, crafting atmospheric songs that blend big guitars, shimmering synths, nostalgic textures, and uplifting melodies. Drawing inspiration from the lush sonic worlds of artists like M83, Dayglow, and The 1975, AquaMurmur creates music that feels intimate, capturing moments of wonder, love, loss and deep emotion. The project’s sound combines dense atmospheres with pop sensibilities, balancing soundscapes with catchy melodic hooks. AquaMurmur’s music explores themes of connection, hope, love lost, and the magic of fleeting moments. Their latest singles from their forthcoming album “Murmuration” are “Blue Super Moon,” and “You’re Not the One and Only” “You’re Not the One and Only” turns the coin to the other side, exploring the agony of love lost and the cutting betrayal, with crunchy, melodic guitars in a meticulously mixed and mastered soundscape.
