About the Artist
Bio: i'm Ash Jetson, a rapper, producer, and author from San Diego, CA. i've been rapping for over 15 years. i started my career in 2010 rapping under my birth given name, AJ Lee, and in 2012 changed it to Ash Jetson to fit a change in sound and a new label i created, Space League San Diego or SLSD. i've released 17 rap albums in all these years, and i've done multiple headline shows around SD and even opened for Denzel Curry. i've collaborated with J.K. the Reaper, Sophie Meiers, and Monte Booker, as well as other big artists, and i hope to expand my sound to a new audience. Song Info: This is the title track of my newest album, "Traveler." from 2025. The concept of the album is about a time and space traveler who feels homesick for a place in the stars, but he doesn't know if this faraway home truly exists. This track is the culmination of the journey to find it, and the return back to Earth with what i learned. its a fast paced, atmospheric track that closes the album on a high note. it was recorded at my engineer's home studio in San Diego, and it is a special track to me because it embodies the idea of the album.
