His songs explore overthinking, love, self-worth, and the struggle to accept what’s out of one’s control, while holding onto a sense of hope in the face of cynicism. Blending singer-songwriter intimacy with atmospheric pop influences, he creates music that feels emotionally raw, timeless, and quietly cinematic. Song Info: “Butterfly” is a moody acoustic ballad about letting go of someone you love, blending intimate singer-songwriter vocals with a quietly cinematic feel. Written when Gurba was 12 years old, the second song he ever wrote, he was inspired to revisit, record, and release it at 27.
