About the Artist
Brenda Lee Kelly is a singer-songwriter known for her originals alt-country outfit Waiting for Brenda, as well as previous work with bluegrass and rockabilly-folk bands. Whilst on holidays visiting a former band member, a spontaneous recording session at Vancouver's Blue Light Studios in 2026, became the catalyst for Brenda’s new music. The Vancouver sessions produced three tracks and has inspired her to continue recording a collection of songs back in Brisbane that sits within the alt-country world while carving out a sound of her own.
