From Newcastle to the “Pittsburgh Sessions”
Newcastle artist Cary Archer is proving that the best music isn't forced, it’s felt. With his latest release, "Cut Foot," Archer blends melodic guitar work with a signature hip-hop cadence, creating a sound that is as open and effortless as the coastal life he leads. Now, with an opportunity to collaborate in the U.S. with legendary Mac Miller producer Big Jerm, Archer is taking his "guitar, rhythm, and honesty" to the global stage.

About the Artist
Cary Archer is an independent Australian artist whose sound lives in the space between rhythmic grit and melodic ease. Based in the coastal city of Newcastle, Archer has carved out a signature style defined by what he calls his "three main ingredients": guitar, rhythm, and honesty. While his foundations are built on warm, Stratocaster-toned riffs, Archer’s secret weapon is his phrasing. Deeply influenced by the "Pittsburgh sound" and the genre-blurring freedom of artists like Mac Miller, Archer infuses his singing with a distinct hip-hop cadence. This "bounce" in his delivery creates a unique tension—his music is clean but never over-polished, allowing the tracks room to breathe and the listener space to find their own meaning within the vibe.
