Genre-defying Gold Coast artist Ella Fence returns with Couple Kids (UK Sessions), a reimagined take on one of her most resonant recent songs, produced in Brighton by longtime collaborator Dan Swift (Snow Patrol, Passenger). Blending alternative pop, indie rock and cinematic intensity, Couple Kids (UK Sessions) captures the uneasy space between youth and adulthood, where freedom, nostalgia and responsibility collide. The track feels expansive and intimate at once, pairing Ella’s visceral lyricism with a refined, emotive production that leans into atmosphere and restraint. “This song is about feeling like a little kid in an adult’s world. You’re just trying to exist, splash around in the ocean and ride your bike by the beach, but your phone keeps dinging and it’s not cute messages, it’s bills & BS,” Ella explains.
