Singing since she could talk, Faith always had a passion for music but never felt ready to share her voice—until becoming a mother. Inspired by the strength she found in herself after having her son, she realised she could do anything, including following her dream of making music.Alt country singer/songwriter, Faith Williams, has released her latest single, “If I Had A Daughter”, (in honour of her baby girl), born on April 6. Produced by Brandon Dodd (Dingo Music), “If I Had A Daughter” is the second single from Faith's forthcoming full length debut album, and sees her reflect on the advice, love, lessons and quiet wisdom a mother dreams of passing on to her little girl — written long before she knew she would be welcoming a daughter of her own. Through vivid storytelling and relatable life lessons, Faith paints a picture of the guidance she would want her daughter to carry through life, the ones that help shape who we become. “I wrote ‘If I Had A Daughter’ a little while after having my son, after going through some pregnancy troubles the second time around. At the time I was imagining, if I ever had a daughter, how I’d guide her and the kind of strength and wisdom I’d hope to pass on to her…long before I thought I’d actually become a mum to one.
