Harley
Delivering high-energy indie-rock with raw conviction, Meanjin/Brisbane powerhouse Harley shares his debut EP, ‘You’re The One I’ll See At Home’, out now. Following the release of three singles, indie-pop/rock artist Harley now arrives at his highly anticipated debut EP. His music has garnered support from The AU Review, Scenestr, AAA Backstage, LA On Lock, Aus Music Scene, The Underground Sound and more, while also spending weeks on the AMRAP charts, reaching as high as #8 overall. Across six tracks, Harley showcases his artistic growth and evolving identity through heart-on-sleeve indie-rock, driven by expansive guitars, crescendoing builds and wide-open choruses. Exploring validation, change and relationships, Harley channels a rollercoaster of emotions through towering vocals, carrying each track with intensity and brutal honesty. As Harley shares: “I wanted this EP to best convey my growth and experience as a young artist. I was filled with self-doubt and distrust in my ability for a long time, scared to be too vulnerable to the audience as it’s terrifying laying it all out on the line in hopes that others enjoy it." Through the EP, Harley came to embrace vulnerability as a means of connection, explaining, “No one can best tell my story other than myself, and I wanted this EP to feel like the first chapter in my journal as an artist.” Closing the EP, ‘When I’m With You’, returns to indie-rock with bright guitar tones, rising intensity and climactic vocals, as Harley transforms a difficult night into a celebration of friendship. Through soaring indie-rock, wide-open energy and heart-on-sleeve storytelling, Harley showcases his growing musical versatility and maturity on debut EP ‘You’re The One I’ll See At Home’.
