About the Artist
With National Radio support and a growing reputation for magnetic live performances, Isy is positioning herself as one of Australia’s most compelling emerging voices in the alt-R&B space. Her upcoming releases showcase a matured sonic identity: rhythm-driven, vocally rich, and emotionally resonant, built for late-night programming, mood-driven playlists, and listeners seeking depth with groove. Isy Cappo enters 2026 with a bold shift into alt-pop and contemporary R&B, delivering a refined, groove-led sound that feels both intimate and sonically elevated. Drawing comparisons to Sasha Keable, BOYSODA, and Remi Wolf, Isy pairs smoky, controlled vocals with textured production and emotionally sharp songwriting. Her new material leans into modern themes of self-worth, emotional detachment, desire, and quiet confidence, trading explosive chaos for sleek basslines, layered harmonies, and hooks that linger. The result is a sound that sits comfortably alongside forward-thinking R&B and alt-pop playlists while maintaining strong crossover potential. Genre: Alt-Pop / Contemporary R&B For fans of: Sasha Keable, BOYSODA, Remi Wolf Focus Track: Poison Location: Sydney, Australia Available for airplay, interviews, and in-studio sessions.
