Pop artist and songwriter Jackson Mercer returns with single “Anxiety”, an ode to a journey of the self that always returns to being true to oneself. Pulling from real life experiences, Jackson’s music has always fronted lyrical honesty, innovative production, and musical curiosity. “Anxiety” is just the latest in his sonic endeavours, always pushing the bounds of what could be. On the single, Jackson shares, “I started with this guitar riff that was stuck in my head, which made me think what other things get stuck in my head. I thought of my childhood growing up within school and my experience with social anxiety, which sparked the song.” A feeling many will relate to, the up-and-coming artist has deemed “Anxiety” to be the start of a new era–one where his artistry feels rooted in truth. He continues, “I always wanted to shine a positive light on experiences I have had to hopefully help a greater audience. Then using my computer, myself and my chair, I wrote the song, recorded and produced it all in my bedroom.” Artist Bio: Jackson Mercer is a pop artist and songwriter creating emotional, melody-driven music inspired by real life moments.
