About the Artist

Hello! My name is Jay Morgan, I'm an Australian artist making indie punk music about disability. I do every aspect of my music by myself. Every note and every word of every song came from my own mind, every instrument you hear was played with my own hands, and every song is produced on my laptop in my bedroom. I don't aim for perfection or polish, instead my music celebrates honesty and authenticity. My music focuses on the reality of disability, because in my opinion there's not enough disability representation in the arts and our stories deserve to be told. Song Info: My latest single, When Will It Be Enough, is an intense and hard hitting punk track exploring feelings of overwhelm and frustration. I wrote this track from my own experiences as a disabled person to highlight the stress of receiving unsolicited advice and judgement from strangers. I played all instruments in this track myself as well as recorded and mixed it on my own. I am excited to share this with my audience, many of whom are also disabled, through social media posts and accessible Livestream concerts.
