From the windswept shores of South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula comes Jo Page — an independent artist whose voice burns with grit, soul, and cinematic fire. Blending country, rock, and soul with a dark western edge, Jo crafts songs that live between rebellion and redemption — stories of pride, loss, and strength. Recognised nationally for her humanitarian and mental health advocacy, Jo’s music walks the line between the spiritual and the untamed. Every note feels lived-in — a reflection of resilience forged through life’s storms. “She’s a Bird” is a deeply personal, uplifting country ballad about my mother, written for her on the eve of her birthday, a tribute to the quiet resilience of women who endure, survive, and keep going, often without recognition. Inspired by storytellers like Martina McBride and Brad Paisley, it blends neotraditional country with soaring vocals and storytelling. Released ahead of Mother’s Day, the track is being serviced to radio nationally in Australia, performed at live shows and supported by ongoing PR — a heartfelt tribute. Jo is now building toward her 2026 EP, with “Fire in His Eyes” marking the start of a bold new chapter — one that promises to bring her signature “dark country western” sound to stages and playlists around the world.
