Kathy Carver
Growing up in the ‘70s, living in an old state housing brick veneer 3 bedroom house with my family of 6. 2 sisters, brother, mum and dad. Things were tight but comfortable. Those days were simple. We sat at the dining table every night, ate our dinner and talked about our days. As we grew, Dad built extensions on the house to accommodate his teenagers, then a bar, which also included his own brewery. This is where he became a master at his own homebrew which was renowned for its great quality. In the bar, we would have many celebrations, many singalongs, enjoying each other's company with family and many friends. Great times we still speak about today.
