KOEI is a Sydney-based independent artist defined by a fully self-built creative identity that merges music, visuals and rollout strategy into a single cohesive world. KOEI blends warm guitar and synth-heavy soundscapes with intimate vocals, crafting a sound that feels both nostalgic and immersive. Beyond song-writing and production, KOEI has independently developed skills in animation, colour grading and video editing. This has enabled him to create a distinctive scribble-based aesthetic that reflects the raw expressive nature of his music. This level of creative control allows for each release to feel intentional, immersive and recognisable. Song Info: "THE LAST TIME” is an indie r&b track with driving guitars, passionate vocals and synth-like textures. Inspired by artists such as Malcolm Todd and Steve Lacy, the track recounts the final moments of a lengthy and tumultuous relationship.
