I find it crazy and weird how you can somehow experience these feelings for someone who will never reciprocate them. ‘Adored’ explores the complexity of a one-sided crush, wearing it, and also owning that reality. This song embellishes yearning, but it's also about being honest and not shying away from the inevitable and harsh reality that sometimes you'll adore someone more than they'll ever adore you.”
