About the Artist
After several years away, Melbourne alternative pop band MOBS return as a newly independent three piece (Jordan, Michael and Matt) with a collection of brand new songs and a renewed creative direction. Blending their nostalgic pop DNA of Phil Collins, Tears for Fears and Michael Jackson with the modern, guitar driven alternative pop of In Color, The Band CAMINO and Joan, MOBS' new material is built around infectious melodies, expansive production and emotionally honest songwriting. Following the release of debut album Cinema Paradiso (2020) and their first international tour through China, plans for further touring internationally were put on hold before MOBS ultimately went on hiatus in 2023. Now independent and making music on their own terms, the band return with an evolved sound that reconnects with what has always defined MOBS while pushing confidently into what comes next. Song Info: Never Again is about accepting that you can’t change the past, but you can choose what happens next. It’s about learning from your mistakes, backing yourself and holding onto the people who matter. We wrote it after a lot of life had happened, and it naturally became the song that felt right to start this next chapter of MOBS. It’s hopeful, honest and a reflection of where we are as a band today.
