Natasha Rose is, in her own words, an aspiring pop star with big dreams and an even bigger wardrobe. The Brisbane based artist blends sharp self-awareness and storytelling with 2010's sparkle, her music perfectly captures that early 20's chaos of feeling everything all at once. Her newest track ‘Stamp of Approval’ is out now. Stamp of Approval taps into that uncomfortable truth of wanting to be liked so badly that you start to lose yourself a little bit. It’s shiny and upbeat on the outside, but a bit brutal when you actually listen, which perfectly encapsulates the reality of choosing validation over your own values. It feels like that moment of realisation in a coming-of-age movie where you learn how easy it is to become this perfectly packaged version of yourself for other people. “This song is by far the most honest and personal song I’ve ever written and the fact it’s going to be out in the world is wild especially considering the song started as a bit of a self-confessional joke.
