An effervescent outing, laden with crunchy guitars and creamy melodies, beloved Australian singer and songwriter Phil Jamieson unveils his new single Reading Keats In Byron Bay, a third cut taken from his forthcoming sophomore full-length album 10CHARLIE officially set for release on August 14, and continues to be celebrated throughout 2026 while Phil takes his extensive PJ AIR Tour across the country in 2026. An affable indie rock gem, Reading Keats In Byron Bay started life as a melody written in Phil’s car. Singing the original idea into a voice memo and noting its melody as Taylor Swift-esque, Phil sent the recording to collaborator Ben Edgar, with the pair ultimately finessing it into its final form. Marking a slight shift in style from previous singles Weekends and Blue As The Sunlight, Reading Keats In Byron Bay also weaves a poignant personal narrative alongside its sunny exterior. "I feel good about releasing this song next," Phil shares. "Reading Keats in Byron Bay carves out its own space in 10Charlie, particularly when compared with the first two singles.
