Riccardo Caboni
Riccardo Caboni, is a jazz musician, composer, and multi instrumentalist who began playing the guitar as a child, but was almost immediately captivated by the electric bass, an omnipresent instrument. He continued his training by joining the marching band, which led him to study music theory. In the following years, he studied harmony and composition while playing the trombone in the ensemble, always keeping the bass guitar by his side. After obtaining his solfeggio license at the age of 19, he picked up the double bass, an instrument not entirely unfamiliar to him. He then took his first courses in jazz composition, and over the years, refined his technique through specialized courses and masterclasses for double bass across Italy, France, and Belgium. Breaking geographical boundaries and capturing international attention, "Stop"is the brand-new jazz fusion single by Italian musician and producer Riccardo Caboni. The track is carving out a significant global path, backed by an exceptional radio reception that highlights its profound artistic value. The single has officially entered the rotation of French stations Planet Radio and Radio Free Marseille, as well as the Australian broadcasting network Local Sounds Radio. Further solidifying this overseas success is the extraordinary feedback from the prestigious Brazilian station Rádio Armazém (awarded as the Best Web Radio in Brazil). They have placed the track on heavy rotation and featured it within their official show and playlist "Noitinha Cool", airing every Sunday at 10:00 PM (Brazil time). The artistic direction of Rádio Armazém expressed enthusiastic praise for the track’s quality: 'Stop' captivated us from the very first listen due to its rhythmic strength and the technical precision of both the bassline and the arrangement. It is a very direct, clean, and well-structured jazz fusion track where every instrument finds its own space without overloading the piece. It beautifully demonstrates how improvisation and groove can flow together naturally. This dynamic, urban energy fits our editorial line perfectly." " 'Stop' was born from the need to combine the expressive freedom of modern jazz with a distinctly international sound," states Riccardo Caboni. "Seeing the precision of the arrangement and the groove of the bass recognized and valued by professionals in markets with such rich musical traditions like France and Brazil is an immense validation of my work." The track stands out for its cinematic atmosphere and crisp production—elements that make it ideal for the most refined playlists and radio programming attentive to contemporary global trends.
