About the Artist
Salty is part of a new wave of artists bringing personality back to the centre of pop. Blending razor-sharp songwriting with infectious hooks and dance floor-ready production, she creates songs that are equal parts playful, provocative and impossible to shake. At the heart of Salty's music is an ability to turn life’s messiest moments into something worth singing along to. Whether she’s unpacking relationships, overthinking or the strange contradictions of simply existing, her songs balance vulnerability and humour in a way that feels both deeply personal and universally relatable. Her debut EP, the other side, introduced listeners to a bold new pop voice through standout tracks including See U In 3, earning radio support and editorial playlisting whilst establishing Salty as one of Australia’s most exciting emerging pop artists. Now entering her next era with singles including Touch Grass and The Eye, Salty continues to push her sound into bolder, brighter territory - delivering sleek, energetic pop that’s impossible to ignore. With new music continuing to blur the lines between nostalgia and next-generation pop, Salty isn’t just making songs, she’s building a world you’ll want to live in. Hear Salty's latest track, 'The Eye', playing now on Local Sounds Radio and catch her live at Brisbane's BIGSOUND in September 2026!
