About the Artist
Bio: Shelley Q, also known as Shelley Quartermaine, is an Australian singer-songwriter who grew up on a sheep and cropping farm in rural Western Australia, at the end of a dirt road with more kangaroos and foxes than actual residents. With no real music scene around her, she started out singing to the sheep on the back of her dad’s ute - her first audience - before teaching herself guitar and piano from a young age. Her music is intimate and emotionally driven, blending alternative pop, folk and cinematic influences with a raw, haunting vocal style. Song Info: “Run to the Moon” is an acoustic-driven pop-folk track with delicate vocals, sweet harmonies and a warm, feel-good energy. Intimate and cinematic, it’s an uplifting love song built around acoustic instrumentation and storytelling.
