Since reforming in late 2022 after a long spell, Simon London + the Spirits wasted no time, pushing out their fourth album and hitting the road through WA. Big sweeping soundscapes, soaring melodies, intimate and compelling song-writing; the new line-up has a chemistry all of its own. The Spirits’ three musicians are ever servants of the song - whether it be beautiful ambience, driving rock or something else - their big sky music will enthral, transport and transform. Steeped in the wash of the landscape of their south coast home - undoubtedly the most southern band in WA - the Spirits inhabit that big ocean expanse of sky and sea, space and light. If you listen for it, you'll hear it flow through their songs like the southerly.
