About the Artist

From headlining Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena and touring the UK + Europe to sharing stages with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Slowly Slowly have established themselves as a formidable force in rock. The Melbourne trio – Ben Stewart, Alex Quayle + Patrick Murphy – are renowned for turning sensitive sadness and clever wordplay into explosive, melodic anthems. New single “Parallel” finds Slowly Slowly at their most playful, blending early-2000s rock and pop-punk energy with a near Jackson 5-esque groove. Beneath its irresistibly catchy melody, the track takes a tongue-in-cheek look at dissociation and the gaps in our memories. Following their #1 Australian ARIA-charting album Forgiving Spree, the trio return with their sixth studio album, Everybody Tells The Truth, out February 5 2027. Written and produced entirely by Stewart, the record draws together the different threads of Slowly Slowly’s catalogue, from raw vulnerability and sharp storytelling to playful experimentation and explosive, guitar-driven hooks. Influenced by everyone from Taking Back Sunday and Third Eye Blind to Sleep Token, Audrey Hobert, and The Story So Far, it finds the band pushing forward while drawing on everything that came before.
