About the Artist
Bio: Based in Oakland, CA Sofia and the Afterglow is an electronic dreampop-inspired alt-pop indie band. They weave lush synth textures with gorgeously emotive vocals. vaporwave meets psych-pop under a sunset and glitter dream. Sofia comes from years of singing jazz standards on the streets of New Orleans. Scott, With his background in the classical tradition, explores new sounds with the synthesizer. With their diverse musical backgrounds and drive for exploration, they have found their unique voice in music. Song Info: This is our first release from the band Sofia & the Afterglow. We're very excited to share our unique synth alt-pop dream pop inspired sound with the world. "Home" is about missing home, traveling, and realizing the feeling of home can be a mindset more than a place. Hope you enjoy it!
