About the Artist

Sonic Keys takes the wheel with uplifting new EP In The Driver's Seat Brisbane piano-pop artist Sonic Keys returns with In The Driver's Seat, an uplifting collection of songs about finding direction, embracing change and taking control of life's next chapter. Blending contemporary pop production with driving piano melodies and an unmistakable falsetto vocal style, the EP explores the moments that define us—from overcoming hesitation and rediscovering hope to navigating life's unexpected turns and learning to let go. Leading the project are three singles, "Make My Move", "Better Days" and the title track "In The Driver's Seat", each representing a different stage of the same journey. Together they tell a story of self-belief, resilience and choosing progress over fear. Opening single "Make My Move" captures the moment when doubt gives way to courage, encouraging listeners to stop waiting and take the first step towards something new. Follow-up single "Better Days" shifts the focus to optimism, reminding us that brighter moments often begin with a simple change in perspective. Completing the trilogy, title track "In The Driver's Seat" celebrates reclaiming control, leaving behind expectations and confidently steering life in your own direction. Beyond its singles, the EP explores themes of home, friendship, personal growth and belonging. From the emotional reflections of "One By One" to the heartfelt homecoming of "Coming Back To You", every song contributes another chapter to a record built around hope and forward momentum. Produced with polished contemporary pop production and anchored by expressive piano performances, In The Driver's Seat showcases Sonic Keys' most cohesive and personal body of work to date. Rather than dwelling on life's setbacks, the EP looks ahead, encouraging listeners to embrace change, trust themselves and keep moving forward. In The Driver's Seat is an invitation to leave fear in the rear-view mirror—and start driving towards whatever comes next.
