About the Artist

13 singles. 26 months. Zero shortcuts. Bury Me Alive is The Wet Whistles at their most honest, blue-collar imagery, a chorus that hits like a freight train, and a message that anyone who's ever been told to 'grow up and get real' will feel in their chest. After wrapping up a headline tour across QLD, NSW and Victoria, including a sold-out 500-cap show at The Crowbar in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley, and a main stage appearance at CMC Rocks to a massive crowd, The Wet Whistles are now gearing up to support Wade Forester across 1,000+ capacity venues in across AU in October, plus a slot at Lasso Festival in Brisbane in July supporting US act Drake Milligan. This release comes with an official video, showcasing the unique personalities of each member of the band, as well as a full spread of social media content, supported by a comprehensive social media marketing campaign and DSP advertising. The visuals surrounding Bury Me Alive draw on a distinctive “Queenslander” aesthetic, highlighting the hometown and environment that shaped The Wet Whistles.
