From regional Victoria, Trista has been writing music for 3 years, but releasing as an independent artist since October 2025. Trista uses music to tell stories. It’s like a real, relatable diary entry torn out of your own book and put into music, using acoustic, indie pop sounds Song Info: Sheets is about coercion within a relationship and the repetition of putting your own feelings aside for the sake of someone else’s pleasure. It covers the issues, feelings and long-term consequences that being in a manipulative situation can cause. Trista wrote this song in 20 minutes, re-recorded it 8 times and sat on it for over a year before deciding to do anything with it. Whilst she’s grown and let go of this experience and this past of hers, she knows other women haven’t or are currently experiencing it. This song is for them.
