Song Information

Songwriter Bruce Mackay (Mack Country) and country artist Adrian Payne release Superfine Man, a heartfelt tribute to the resilience, character and quiet determination of Australia’s fine and superfine wool producers. Drawing on Bruce’s 30 years as a part-time wool grower in the Bookham district of New South Wales, the song honours friends and former neighbours whose lives have long been shaped by the land, the seasons, and the pursuit of producing some of the world’s finest wool. Written by Bruce Mackay, with music and vocals by Adrian Payne, Superfine Man is an authentic Australian country ballad celebrating the grit of rural life and the people who live it.
