Delusional explores the fine line between passion and obsession, capturing the moment when creativity stops being a choice and becomes all-consuming. Written from personal experience, the song reflects on the intensity of being driven by music — where the need to create can take over your thoughts, your time, and your sense of balance. It’s an honest look at the cost of that obsession, as well as the purpose it gives.
About the Artist
Alan Dreezer is an independent UK songwriter and artist whose music blends emotional honesty with cinematic pop production. His work explores themes of loss, resilience, connection, and self-reflection — shaped by a career marked by reinvention rather than shortcuts.
After early industry experience touring with 80s pop favourites Brother Beyond, Alan returned to music as a solo artist in the late 2010s. His albums London E12 and H E A L E D earned critical praise, radio support, and award recognition, including multiple Orpheus Global Independent Music Award nominations.
His 2025 single APART marked a new creative chapter, earning a Song of the Year nomination and contributing to his Songwriter of the Year nomination at the Orpheus Awards — his third consecutive year recognised in that category.
Alan continues to release music independently while supporting emerging artists as part of the Fresh On The Net moderation team.
