BROOKE HENZELL UNVEILS HAUNTING NEW SINGLE
“COLD ANGEL”
A Dark, Dreamy Trip-Hop Journey Drawing Comparisons to PJ Harvey, Portishead, and Massive Attack.
Brooke Henzell today (May 19th, 2026) releases her new single “Cold Angel,” a brooding and atmospheric track about paranoia in the digital age. The song fuses trip-hop influenced production with a dark and dreamy alternative rock soundscape, carving out a track that feels both intimate and cinematic. It was produced by John McHugh, whose production credits include the recently released Muddy Knees EP from New York duo, Slowpoke.
Echoing the sonic worlds of PJ Harvey, Portishead, and Massive Attack, “Cold Angel” features hypnotic rhythms beneath textured layers of sound, and a vocal performance that is ethereal and magnetic.
“Cold Angel” is available now on all major streaming platforms.
