About the Artist

Cat Thompson is an Australian, independent, female, Pop-R&B artist, songwriter, and music producer. She writes and produces in her own recording studio which she built on a farm in the beautiful beach side town of Byron Bay, Australia. Cat Thompson is an all-round performer who loves to sing, dance and share her passion for music and storytelling. As a child, she enjoyed playing piano as well as writing poetry. By combining these passions, she discovered her love for songwriting. Over the years Cat Thompson developed her skills in songwriting, production and performance. She has performed live in the Solomon Islands, Vietnam, the Philippines and Australia. Cat Thompson’s single, Who You Gonna Call, made America’s NashVegas Radio Top 30 and AMR Australia's Top 50 for 2021. The music video for her single Be Mine and her interview with American TV show, SideWalks Entertainment, aired nationally on TV channels in the United States in 2022. Cat Thompson's single, Dance Fire, won Best R&B Performance at the UK's Indie Music Icons Radio Awards 2026. Cat Thompson is now releasing her new pop single, All Night, which she proudly wrote, recorded, produced and mastered herself in her own recording studio.
